When you are shopping for candles online, there are a few things you may want to keep in mind.  Not all candle companies online are created equal.  You've got your big candle companies like Yankee Candles, Gold Canyon Candles, and then you have mostly internet based candle companies selling candles online.  Needless to say, all these candle sellers do not use the same candle suppliers.  Therefore, candles from one company may differ greatly from another candle retailer.  There are a number of different scents and waxes available, and can change the candle product greatly.

You might even find yourself dissapointed with your candle purchase.  I have bought candles before that were not satisfactory.  Some burn down the center, thus wasting a lot of the actual candle.  Others may not put off a strong enough scent smell for my taste.  There are a number of things that make a great candle.  When you're shopping for candles online, you might have to try a few different candle companies to find one you like.  That being said, you may just get lucky and find a quality candle company to stick with.  Most candles you buy online will come with some kind of money back guarantee, which cuts your risk.

Another thing to keep in mind when shopping for candles online is the type of payment the candle website accepts.  Do they take PayPal? Do they take Visa/MasterCard? Amex?  Howmuch is the shipping costs?  Does this candle website offer different shipping options?  A large number of candle websites online will only offer standard shipping which really is not all that bad.  You're talking 3 days shipping time in most cases.  However, you need to figure in the time it takes to make your candle order, package it, and get it to the shipper.  When all is said and done, you may be looking at a week or even a little bit longer until you receive your candles.

Obviosly, when you're shopping for candles online, you want a nice variety of different candles scents to choose from.  This again, all depends on the individual candle site and could vary tremendously.  You may find that some candle sites online only offer a handful of different candle scents, while others have more than you could ever imagine.  If you can imagine a smell, there is probably a candle scent out there for it.  For example, I have several favorite candle scents that I keep buying.  They are the pipe tobacco candle scent, the blueberry cobbler candle scent, the black cherry candle scent, and all the cologne candle scents.  You will want to check out several different candle websites most likely.
